First “Shtern Readings” on the topic of "Science and education" took place with the support from MCF in January 2010. This initiative was undertaken by the "Anrivis" organization (under the direction of professor Sergey Polak and Dr. Moshe Kenigshtein) and supported by the Open University of Israel, Yuri Stern Foundation and other organizations. "Shtern readings is a public intellectual forum of academics and public organizations. The main purpose of Readings-national consent, discussion of the most pressing problems in the development of Israeli society and the State. The presented materials are published in the special collections, media and Internet.
